IVF with Donor Egg – 100% Money Back Guarantee: A unique payment program for couples who need infertility treatment – the IVF Refund Program, offered exclusively at CRM.
Patient satisfaction in IntegraMed’s IVF-refund program is nearly 100 percent, according to a recent survey
Even the savviest patient can be daunted by the financial process when it comes to infertility. At the Center for Reproductive Medicine, we strive to provide you with the best possible care. Our finance team is always available to answer insurance questions and financing options.
An increasing number of companies offer insurance benefits to help defray costs of infertility treatments and diagnostic testing. Couples should be prepared to pay for all services in advance. Our finance team will assist you in completing any necessary paperwork for submission to your insurance carrier for possible reimbursement. Because insurance benefits are not always available, the Center for Reproductive Medicine offers two programs to help lesson the financial anxiety”:
- The IVF Refund Program. Offered through IntegraMed – and in Central Florida available exclusively at the Center for Reproductive Medicine – this unique program offers a guaranteed refund if an IVF cycle is unsuccessful. Patients who qualify pay IntegraMed a flat fee for up to three IVF cycles and three frozen embryo transfers in an effort to overcome infertility. If treatment is not successful, up to 100% of the program fees are refunded. Visit IntegraMed to see if you pre-qualify – get an answer online now.
- Capital One loan. To help put infertility treatments within your reach, we offer Capital One's Family Fee Plan. This financing plan offers to qualified patients a low-interest rate loan, with properties similar to a credit card, which can be used for infertility and IVF therapy. IVF COSTS
In Florida and the southeast in general, you should be paying much less than the national average. And that average cost of an IVF cycle in the U.S. is $12,400, according to the American Society of Reproductive Medicine (ASRM). That cost includes medications (purchased from a pharmacy), all monitoring, physician and facility fees, and laboratory charges. Here at the Center for Reproductive Medicine, IVF costs are in line with the national average, and we offer several lower-cost IVF alternatives.
For IVF treatment cycles, program fees are necessary to partially defray the professional, facility, and laboratory expenses incurred. After an initial informational meeting, you will have a consultation with one of our physicians and an IVF nurse. A physical exam will be performed on the wife, including an ultrasound.
According to the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) guidelines, blood will be taken from both wife and husband for screening of sexually transmitted diseases, including HIV and Hepatitis B and C. Cultures will also be taken from both for Chlamydia. These will be sent to the appropriate laboratory as indicated by the patient’s insurance carrier. Please be prepared to provide our lab team with current information so that the correct laboratory may be utilized to maximize potential insurance coverage. All billing for these tests will come directly from the reference laboratory.
The IVF consultation and screening lab studies are not considered part of the overall IVF treatment cycle. A detailed explanation of charges will be provided and any questions about financial matters may be discussed with a financial counselor. It is anticipated that many insurance companies that provide coverage for infertility evaluation and/or treatment may also cover portions of the expense for screening studies.
