The assisted reproductive technology (ART) program at the Center for Reproductive Medicine was established in 1985. The assisted reproductive technologies include In Vitro fertilization and embryo transfer (IVF) as well as zygote intrafallopian transfer (ZIFT), gamete intrafallopian transfer (GIFT), embryo cryopreservation, oocyte/embryo micromanipulation, intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI), and preimplantation genetic diagnosis (PGD).
