Randall Loy, MD

Reproductive endocrinology and infertility

Randall A. Loy, MD, is the managing partner at the Center for Reproductive Medicine in Winter Park and Celebration, Florida. Board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology as well as reproductive endocrinology and infertility, he is a highly respected fertility doctor serving the Central Florida area.

Dr. Loy received his bachelor of arts in English from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) before earning a medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia. While in medical school, he was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha, the national medical honor society. After completing his internship and residency at the Medical College of Georgia, Dr. Loy pursued a fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at Harvard Medical School and Yale University School of Medicine. Upon completing basic science and clinical research at Yale, Dr. Loy joined the Center for Reproductive Medicine in 1989.

He is currently affiliated with Florida Hospital and the Orlando Regional Healthcare System. Dr. Loy has written more than 30 medical journal articles, textbook chapters and scientific abstracts on the topics of gynecology and reproductive medicine. In addition, he serves as an ad hoc reviewer for Fertility and Sterility and other reproductive medicine journals.

Dr. Loy is active in state and national medical societies, including the Florida Society of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, the Society of Reproductive Surgeons, the Society of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, the Society of Assisted Reproductive Technologies and the American Society for Reproductive Medicine.

With his chief medical interests, including advances in endoscopic surgery, Dr. Loy has developed and patented a number of innovative surgical products. Other areas of expertise include in vitro fertilization (IVF), endometriosis, adenomyosis and recurrent pregnancy loss. He has been featured on the Best Doctors in America® list, on the America's Top Doctors list and in other national directories. Dr. Loy is consistently recognized as a top doctor by US News & World Report and Orlando Best Doctors in America due to his outstanding achievements in the field of fertility.

A widely recognized leader in the field of reproductive medicine, Sharon B. Jaffe, MD, is credited as the first female to become Board-certified in reproductive endocrinology and infertility in the state of Florida. She is proud to serve patients at the Center for Reproductive Medicine in Winter Park and Celebration, Florida.

Dr. Jaffe is a graduate of the prestigious Johns Hopkins University. After completing her medical and post-graduate education in obstetrics and gynecology at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, she received a fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York City, where she remained as the medical director for the in vitro fertilization program.

A highly qualified fertility doctor, she currently serves as the director of the Florida clinic's anonymous donor egg program. For over eight years, Dr. Jaffe directed the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the Orlando Regional Healthcare System OB/GYN Residency Program and served as a courtesy clinical associate professor at the University of Florida.

Most recently, Dr. Jaffe was named an associate professor at the University of Central Florida’s new medical school and is actively assisting in creating a curriculum for the reproduction and endocrine module for second-year medical students. Dr. Jaffe also strongly believes in patient education, serving as the host of a nationwide television show discussing various women’s issues.

Dr. Jaffe has authored numerous scientific research articles and publications and has given many lectures and presentations on reproductive endocrinology and infertility. She has consistently been named on the Best Doctors in America® list.

With more than 10 years of experience in medicine, Sejal Dharia Patel, MD, is dual Board-certified in reproductive endocrinology and obstetrics and gynecology. She serves patients at the Center for Reproductive Medicine in Celebration, Florida.

Dr. Patel’s commitment to excellent results and personalized patient care are a perfect fit with our team’s philosophy. Her knowledge, compassion and dedication as a fertility doctor are respected by patients and contemporaries alike. Dr. Patel’s chief medical interests include general infertility, ovulatory dysfunction, male factor infertility, in vitro fertilization and fertility preservation. Dr. Patel brings her expertise to Central Florida to offer patients personalized, innovative fertility solutions.

Raised in Clearwater, Florida, Dr. Patel received her undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Miami. She then completed her internship and residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Florida, followed by a fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She then served as the Co-director of the Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility Division at Ohio State University College of Medicine prior to returning to Central Florida.

Dr. Patel is a member of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Additionally, she is a faculty member at the University of Central Florida College of Medicine and currently serves as the Medical Director for Reproductive Medicine at AdventHealth Celebration.

Albert Asante, MD, MPH, is a fertility specialist who is double Board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology as well as reproductive endocrinology and infertility. He sees patients at the Center for Reproductive Medicine in Winter Park and Celebration, Florida.

Albert Asante, MD, MPH, is a fertility specialist who is double Board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology as well as reproductive endocrinology and infertility. He sees patients at the Center for Reproductive Medicine in Winter Park and Celebration, Florida.

His clinical practice covers a wide range of general infertility and reproductive endocrine conditions, with a particular focus on polycystic ovary syndrome, recurrent pregnancy loss, fertility treatment for advanced reproductive-aged women and in vitro fertilization.

Dr. Asante has won multiple awards in these areas and was the recipient of the 2016 Association of Professors of Gynecology and Obstetrics Excellence in Teaching Award. He has presented his research at national and international meetings and received the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists 2013 Industry-Funded Research Fellowship in Infertility Award.

He is skilled in performing advanced reproductive techniques and has clinical interests in premature menopause, primary amenorrhea, elective and medically indicated fertility preservation, and advanced hysteroscopic surgery.

Dr. Asante is a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, the Society for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, the Society for Gynecologic Investigation and the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Seif E. Sadek, MD, is a reproductive endocrinologist and infertility specialist with a longstanding interest in women’s reproductive health. He received his medical degree from Weill Cornell Medical college in Doha, Qatar and completed his residency and fellowship at EVMS-The Jones Institute in Norfolk, Virginia, the home of IVF in the US. During his training he won multiple awards, including the 2018 American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ACOG) best research award. He is published in numerous journals and has presented at national and international meetings.

Dr. Sadek is a member of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine, the Society of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, and the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Sadek’s chief medical interests include in vitro fertilization, male factor infertility, advanced hysteroscopic surgery, fertility preservation and third-party reproduction.
