The Center for Reproductive Medicine is proud to announce that Dr. Albert Asante has been named Medical Director of our Third-Party Reproduction Program. In this role, Dr. Asante will lead our program for intended parents working with an egg donor, sperm donor, embryo donor or gestational carrier.

What This Means for Our Patients
Third-party reproduction makes parenthood possible with the help of a donor or gestational carrier. It opens doors for same-sex couples, single parents by choice, people facing premature menopause or cancer treatment, and those who have experienced repeated IVF or pregnancy loss.
With more people and more decisions involved, third-party care works best when every step is carefully coordinated. Our program includes:
-
Egg and sperm donation: matching, screening and cycle coordination with donors and donor banks
-
Donated embryos: guidance for families considering embryo donation
-
Gestational carriers: medical screening, cycle synchronization and embryo transfer for surrogacy arrangements
-
Support beyond medicine: connecting patients with counseling, legal and agency partners at the right moments
As Third-Party Medical Director, Dr. Asante will provide leadership and oversight for the program, so families can count on consistent, compassionate care at every stage.
